AAOKH observations added to new publication: Alaska’s Changing Environment

AAOKH’s home department at University of Alaska Fairbanks, the International Arctic Research Center, recently led a publication called Alaska’s Changing Environment which synthesizes recent  shifts in temperature, sea ice, fish and wildlife, oceans, glaciers, permafrost – and more – across Alaska based on local observations & scientific data. Roberta Tuurraq Glenn visits Wainwright

Roberta Tuurraq Glenn, a new graduate student at UAF whose project is supported by AAOKH, is in Wainwright today and tomorrow! Roberta is visiting with her advisor Jacquelyn Overbeck who manages the State of Alaska Coastal Hazards Program to introduce herself and an erosion monitoring project idea in person, and to listen to feedback about whether this is something in which the community might be interested in participating.
